🌍 Introduction

We’re lucky to have a passionate, global creative community here at HeyGen and are just getting started with what we hope will be an exciting year of community-led events ahead. Thank you for your interest in becoming a Chapter Lead! A Chapter Lead is a HeyGen user who is enthusiastic about the impact of AI video creation and fostering community among HeyGen creators and new users in their region by organizing IRL meetups and events.

As a Chapter Lead, you can host meetups, workshops and other in-person events to educate, inspire and connect users, enabling the community to explore use cases and share tips together. You decide the type of meetup you want to host and its location! After the event, you’re also welcome to continue engaging with your local community virtually through online HeyGen chapter groups.

The HeyGen Community and Education Team will support Chapter Leads by providing swag, food and beverage budget, and event promotion. As a Chapter Lead you will get special recognition and exclusive opportunities to engage with the HeyGen team.

Types of chapter events could include:

• Networking meetup to discuss current use cases and share tips (hosted at an office, coffee shop, library, bar etc)
• Workshops where you lead a tutorial
• Show-and-tell sessions to share use cases and videos

🎯 What does a great Chapter Lead look like?

In order to be considered as a Chapter Lead, you must be:

• A paid HeyGen user
• Able to publicly share examples of how you have used HeyGen
• Comfortable hosting and facilitating group conversations of up to 20 people
• Familiar with and prepared to abide by HeyGen’s community guidelines
• Familiar with the HeyGen Hub and have actively engaged (posted in Forums, attended Webinars, etc.)
• Age 18+ or 21+ if you plan to organize events with 21+ age restrictions

You’ll be a natural if you also have:

• Interest in being the friendly face of HeyGen in your community
